Women's Team player Tara Attard has admitted that she missed the emotions of the game and she's looking very forward for tonight's match against Pembroke Athleta as the domestic league will be back following five weeks. She said this during an interview in view of today's match.

Loaned for the second year from Kirkop United, Tara has made five appearances with our team and the seventeen year old is seeking to continue step-up her level in the most important phase of the league.

Tara said “I am looking very much forward for tonight's match. We prepared for this match by working very hard. I missed the emotions I feel before, during and after the match.

She continued, “The last five weeks had contrasting outcomes. The advantages where that we had time to prepare for this match by working hard at training, meanwhile the disadvantage is that we haven't played as a team for quite a long period of time.

“With the four matches remaining I believe that we will win the title. As I said before, we worked hard and made so many sacrifices to earn this title. I believe that if each player plays with their heart, we will definitely win the title.”

She went on by saying, “In my opinion, what's special about our team is that we are a family. The bond we have between each other is indescribable and that can lead us to reach our targets. On a personal note, my target is to improve my level in football.”

Tara concluded this message: “I would just like to say that we have a few games to go, and if we stay concentrated and play with our hearts we can do it, and get what we deserve after all the hard work being done from the players, coaches, the committee and our supporters that are always there.”
