Birkirkara drawn in tough group in UWCL

Champions Birkirkara FC were handed a very tough drawn against top-seeds FC Zurich of Switzerland, FC Minsk of Belarus and hosts ZNK Olimpija Ljubljana in Group 6 of the UEFA Women's Champions League, which will be played between 22 and 28 August in Slovenia.

This will be Birkirkara's fifth participation in the UEFA Women's Champions League and they were handed a tough group. While ZNK Olimpija Ljbuljana will be making their debut in the competition, FC Minsk and FC Zurich are two tough sides. FC Minsk reached the round of 32 last season while FC Zurich reached the round of 16.
