Lucky Omeruo hails from Nigeria joined our Club in the 2014 Summer Transfer Market when he was just eighteen years old.

Lucky who plays as a striker or a winger, was part of the Flying Eagles build-up to the ongoing FIFA U-20 World Cup in Turkey, but could not make the final squad. He played for Bayelsa United, who feature in the Nigeria league top flight before joining Nigerian side, Enugu Rangers FC in the 2013-2014 season.

2014-2015

In the 2014 Summer Transfer Market, Birkirkara were seeking the strengthen their attacking department and on Wednesday, 9 July, the Club registered the Nigerian promising youngster, Lucky Omeruo after he had a trial with the Club in the Euro Cup pre-season tournament.

Lucky made his debut one day later in the second leg of the first qualifying round against the Hungarian side, Diosgyor VTK where the latter was included as a substitute on the sixty-fourth minute.
