Paul Fenech was born on the 20 December 1986. He has played for Club between 2007 and 2015, before returning for a short spell of eight months between 2018 and 2019.

He is a product of Naxxar Lions FC but then moved to Msida Saint Joseph FC where he made his Premier League debut in 2005. With Msida, he spent two seasons where he made sixty appearances and scored four goals.

Fenech moved to Birkirkara FC in season 2007-2008. He won his first honour with the Club, as the Stripes won the FA Trophy, following ending in a respective fourth place position in the BOV Premier League. In his first-season, he won a regular place under the guidance of Coach John Buttigieg.

Paul won two Premier League titles with our Club, in 2010 and 2013. Following his successful season 2012-2013, he was voted the MFA Best Player of the Year during the MFA Awards 2013, which were held on Friday, 14 June 2013.

He won the BOV Super Cup twice in the following two seasons to win every honour that the Maltese football offers with our Club, before he won his second FA Trophy with our Club at the end of Season 2014-2015.

Fenech moved to Balzan FC in the January Transfer Market of season 2015-2016 in swap-deal with Edison Bilbao of Balzan FC to bring his first spell with Birkirkara FC to an end. He spent one season and a half with Balzan FC where he made sixty-four appearances and scored six goals.

Paul returned for his second spell with Birkirkara FC in the first week of June 2018. However, his spell lasted only eight months, as he returned with his former club, Balzan FC in the first week of January 2019.

With our Club, Paul won twice the BOV Premier League, twice the FA Trophy and twice the BOV Super Cup. On a personal note, he won the MFA Best Player of the Year in 2013, following a memorable season 2012-2013.
