Kristijan Naumovski extends his contract

Macedonian goalkeeper Kristijan Naumovski, who has established himself as one of the best goalkeepers on our island, has signed a fresh one-year contract with Birkirkara FC.

Naumovski joined Birkirkara FC in the January Transfer Market. The Macedonian goalkeeper established himself as one of the best goalkeepers on our island thanks to his impressive performances in the first five months with our Club.

The twenty-nine-year-old goalkeeper made fifteen appearances this season, playing all matches after joining our Club in January. He was one of the key-players that helped the Stripes to secure a top-four place in the BOV Premier League and a place in the UEFA Europa League.

Club's Technical Director has rated the extension of contract of goalkeeper Kristijan Naumovski as a fantastic signing for this Club. “I think it is a fantastic signing for the Club. We believe that ‘Kiko' has been a key-factor in our qualification for Europe and he is the type of player we want.”

He added on, “This signing is a statement of intent, this is just the beginning.”
