Registration, Paperwork and Kits
Birkirkara F.C. Youth Academy would like to invite new recruits, both boys or girls, to join the Academy. New Players must register on the Registration Form. Interested parties are to call personally at the Birkirkara FC Training Grounds, P.P. Castagna Street, Birkirkara, accompanied by one of their parents or legal guardians presenting the Registration Form from Monday to Friday between 17:00 and 20:00.
Along with the registration form, you must supply the following:
- Original Birth certificate and a copy
- 3 passport size photos (2 for the YFA Passport)
- The Medical Clearance Form (imposed by the Malta Football Associsation for your's child health and safety)
Age Regulation
The regulation states that whatever age a player turns in the first year of the season, becomes the age group for football.

Registration Fees
The registration fee is a seasonal payment that covers some of the general costs of the club such as: Academy affiliation, ground maintenance, training equipment, facility improvements as well as administration costs. The club covers further costs by raising funds from social events which we encourage you to participate, sponsorship and with contributions from various organisations.
The Academy's expenditure is a huge burden on its finances and registration fees are vital to the Academy's welfare and future existence. Guardians are expected to pay these fees promptly.
Fees can be paid in two installments, one at the start of the year, and the other mid-term, or in full at the start of the season at a reduced rate.

We accept cash and cheques. (No credit cards accepted).
Sibling Discount: Families with two or more children enrolled with the Birkirkara FC Youth Academy are welcome to take advantage of our sibling discount policy. We offer a 20% discount in the lowest registration fee for two or more children who are enrolled.
Please note that Birkirkara FC Youth Academy will accept registration fees to be paid by not later than the first week of October. Birkirkara FC Youth Academy has a no pay, no play policy. No player can train or play until registration fees have been paid in full after the first week of October.
If payments are a hardship for you, please contact the Administrator or Treasurer of the Academy, to discuss a payment plan. We will work with families who have to face financial hardships.
Kits for the Under 5's till the Under 17's
Birkirkara FC has agreed terms with Eurosport for the supply of the Adidas Academy uniform. The whole package consisting of red short sleeve top, red shorts, yellow socks, tracksuit and a bag will be sold from Eurosport for the price of €135.00, part of which is a deposit of €15 to be paid at the Academy. Eurosport will only sell the package upon presentation of the €15 receipt submitted by the Academy and the remaining payment of €120. The package is available for sale from Eurosport, Psaila Street, Birkirkara.
As part of the agreement reached between the club and Eurosport, children registered with the Academy and their families will benefit from a 30% discount on football shoes and 10% discount on other sports apparel. Football shoes and shin pads are mandatory. We encourage you to make use of the discounts mentioned above. The Eurosport discount can be collected from the Academy's main offices following full payment of the registration fee.
