Surprise visit to a Birkirkara die-hard

A selection of players, lead by coach Paul Zammit and Vice President John Borg paid a surprise visit to a Birkirkara family this afternoon. Ardent Birkirkara supporter Louis Grech was seriously injured some months back after a bad work related accident, therefore confined to his home and unable to be present for Birkirkara FC matches.
John Borg was alerted to this situation by a friend of Louis who happens to be a fervent Valletta fan, but who wanted to cheer up Louis and his family during this hard time as he knew how much Birkirkara FC meant to this family. Contacts were made with the family and the surprise visit was made this afternoon, much to the delight of a teary eyed Louis and his extended family who were overcome with emotion seeing their football heroes present in their living room!
Louis was presented with a signed replica shirt and a calendar to mark the occasion.
