Angus Buhagiar renews his contract

Right-wing defender Angus Buhagiar has agreed to renew his contract today by signing a new two year deal which will keep him a player of the 'Stripes' till the end of the 2011-2012 season.

This year, Angus sacrificed his usual position as a striker, as Mr. Paul Zammit established him as a defender who contributed in no small way for the 'Stripes' to be crowned champions of Malta this season.

Angus Buhagiar, former Tarxien Rainbows and Floriana is the second player to extend his contract this week, after this Tuesday, Trevor Cilia renewed his contract for another 3 years.
