President and Vice President to attend Champions League draw

Club President Mr. Karm Galea and Vice President John Borg will be leaving our island to go Nyon in Switzerland to attend the draws of the first qualification round of the UEFA Champions League. The draws will take place at noon on Monday 21 June.

Birkirkara FC has the possibility to face either Tre Fiori, the champions of San Marino, or Santa Coloma, the champions of Andorra.

Tre Fiori was established in 1949 and so far they have managed to win 5 championships, twice of which were in these last two consecutive years.

On the other hand, Santa Coloma was established in 1986 and is one of the most successful clubs in Andorra, in recent times. In fact in this last decade they have managed to win no less than 5 league titles.
