Friendly Matches in August

As the next cup tie will take place in the last week of August, Mr. Paul Zammit and his Technical Team have scheduled a number of friendly matches, which will all take place before the Super Cup against Valletta.

On Tuesday 3 August, Birkirkara FC will be taking part in a friendly triangular tournament held , made up of 45 minute each game, vs Marsaxlokk FC and vs Qormi FC. This tournament will take place at Marsaxlokk FC's ground. The match sequence is as follows:
18:00 Marsaxlokk FC vs Qormi FC
19:00 Birkirkara FC vs Marsaxlokk FC
20:00 Birkirkara FC vs Qormi FC

The next friendly match will take place on 7 August, with Birkirkara facing Mqabba in the Victor Tedesco Stadium at 18:30.

The last friendly match, in this series, will be played on 12 August when Birkirkara FC will face Floriana FC. 'The Sripes' vs 'The Greens' will also be played in the Victor Tedesco Stadium at 18:30.

These friendly matches will surely be an important build-up for the highly expected match - The Super Cup Final. This tie will take place on 21 August between the Premier League Champions Birkirkara and the U*BET FA Trophy winners Valleta, which will be played at the National Stadium. Kick off time still to be announced.
