"We are Birkirkara and we know what we want"

Tomorrow, Birkirkara will face in-form Tarxien Rainbows, and we decided to ask Patrick Borg, who had a very satisfying performance in the last match against Qormi, when our team managed to win with a 2-0 result.

We opened this interview by asking Patrick how much importance he gave to the fact that we won the last match, and he said, "The victory against Qormi was very important for us as we needed to bring back the confidence that we had last season.

"But now last match is past. Every game is a different story and I hope that we have another satisfying performance."

Then we turned our focus on tomorrow's game. Although Patrick and the rest of his team mates know the difficulty of the game, we could feel certain optimism in Patrick's words. "Every game is difficult and this is no exception. However, this is not the time to say whether this is difficult or not. We are Birkirkara and we know what we want from this game."

Patrick concluded the interview by encouraging the Birkirkara supporters to give their maximum support as he concluded with, "The supporters for us are something special. I encourage them to stay behind us and united we can continue challenging for the honours."
