Reuben Gauci joins Birkirkara FC

Birkirkara FC opened the January Transfer Market campaign by securing the services of the 28 year old goalkeeper Reuben Gauci on loan from Marsaxlokk FC till the end of the season.

Reuben joined 'The Blues' in the 2005-2006 season and he made his debut in the narrow 2-1 win over Hamrun Spartans on the 11 August 2005. In 2008 he was loaned out to Qormi where he made 13 appearances. He returned to Marsaxlokk in the 2010-2011 season. With Marsaxlokk, Rueben had a total of 76 appearances.

Reuben, will be filling in the gap left by Jorge Mora who was released by the Club for personal reasons.

Last Saturday, Rueben played his first match with Birkirkara in the friendly match against Dingli which 'The Stripes' won with a 4-0 score.
