Life Celebration Football Festivall

Birkirkara FC Football Nursery has the pleasure to announce that, for the third successive year, it shall be organising the Life Celebration Football Festival at its Infetti Training Grounds. Following last season's success, where the usually humble complex turned into a feast of colours and sounds, including bouncing castles, face painters, balloon modellers and more, the Nursery invites your nursery to our 3rd anniversary festival, which will also fall in the 30th year since the Nursery was establihed; a youth football celebration with focus on football experiences at the Infetti Training Grounds between Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th of February 2013. This Festival will commemorate and honour the life and work of legendary football administrator Mr. Alfred Borg and football coach Mr. Mario Borg, under whom our Nursery excelled. The Festival is sanctioned by the Youth and Grassroots Committee of the Malta Football Association.

The main aim of this Festival is for the participants to have FUN, and also try to include a large number of nurseries. In fact, there will be 28 teams taking part, while on Sunday a Fun Park will be set up in collaboration with the Birkirkara Local Council, and will include many of the attractions mentioned earlier. This Football Festival will this year be dedicated to the Categories below:

• Under 6
Players born on or after January 1, 2007 - 5a-side, 20 minutes, on Saturday 16th February from 09:30 to 13:00 (5 Games)

• Under 7
Players born on or after January 1, 2006 - 5a-side, 20 minutes, on Sunday 17th February from 09:30 to 13:00 (5 Games)

• Under 8
Players born on or after January 1, 2005 - 5a-side, 20 minutes, on Sunday 17th February from 09:30 to 13:00 (5 Games)

• Under 9
Players born on or after January 1, 2004 - 5a-side, 20 minutes, on Saturday 16th February from 09:30 to 13:00 (5 Games)

Participation in this Festival will be free of charge.

A token will be presented to all players at the end of their commitments. A team shall consist of not less than 10 players. As this is a Fun Football Festival, no tables will be published, and no team or individual trophies will be awarded. Your Nursery is invited to participate in this Football Festival by completing the application form attached and send it to the Administrator, nursery@birkirkarafc.com. It is highly appreciated if you confirm your participation by not later than Monday 4th February 2013. We urge all Nurseries to apply early so as not to be disappointed as applications will be accepted on a first come first served basis.
