Seven Birkirkara players in Malta's provisional squad

Seven Birkirkara players were called up by Malta's National Head Coach Mr. Pietro Ghedin in the 27-man provisional National squad for Malta's World Cup Qualifying matches against Bulgaria and Italy.

Goalkeepers Reuben Gauci and Justin Haber, defenders Joseph Zerafa and Edward Herrera and the three midfielders Paul Fenech, Gareth Sciberras and Rowen Muscat were the players chosen by Ghedin.

Malta will first face Bulgaria on Friday 22 March and the match will be played at the Natsionalen Stadion in Bulgaria. Malta will then host Italy in the much awaited match on Tuesday 26 March and the match will be played at the National Stadium.
