Four Birkirkara Women players called to National U19 Team

Four Birkirkara players were called to the Women's Under 19 Squad led by Coach Mr. Mark Gatt for the two friendly matches of next Wednesday and next Friday respectively against Northern Ireland.

Goalkeeper Janice Xuereb, midfield duo Martina Cilia and Alishia Sultana, and forward Raina Giusti were the Birkirkara players chosen by Mr. Gatt for these two international friendly matches.

This should be an excellent opportunity for Mr. Gatt to asses his players which will also be serving as a preparation before their commitments in the UEFA Women's Under-19 Championship which is going to be held in Serbia in the third week of September.

Both matches will be played at MFA Ta' Qali Training grounds and are scheduled to kick off at 18:00.

We would like to wish the team the best of luck in these friendly matches, especially to our players for an excellent performance.
