Birkirkara FC Youth Nursery Administration

Birkirkara FC has appointed Mr Ivan Mizzi as the CEO of its Youth Nursery, to continue to strengthen this important section of the Club.
The Youth Nursery has embarked on a mission to solidify and grow further, with the aim of becoming the best Nursery in Malta. The Club felt that the appointment of a CEO would help achieve this aim.
Mr Mizzi will be assisting the Nursery's Sub-Committee in the day to day running of the nursery, and help in planning for the future. He is expected to work in close tandem with the Nursery's Secretary and Administrator Ms Tracy Camilleri who was appointed in this role a few weeks ago.
Both of them are not new faces in the Club, as Mr Mizzi is also serving as the Club's Treasurer, while Ms Camilleri is the Women's Team secretary, roles they have held for a number of years.
Mr Mizzi said, I look to this new challenge with enthusiasm. It is not an easy task, as we have to deal with so many coaching staff, students and parents, besides the day to day challenges, fund raising, and everything else that comes with running such an institution. However, the future looks bright, as the nursery is expanding.
When asked about his dual-role in the Club, Mr Mizzi replied It all boils down to balancing time. When one puts his mind to it, there is time for everything. On the other hand, there are advantages in this case. I have a clear vision of what the parent club wants from its Nursery, and I am going to do my best to implement it. Also, communication has obviously been eased between the central committee and the nursery sub-committee, since I attend meetings of both.
We have started the first phase of embellishing the Infetti Training facilities, which now boasts of a modern cafeteria with a pleasant and family friendly atmosphere. We have earmarked another area in the facility for further embellishment. Also, we will soon announce a range of new services that will be available at Infetti.
He concluded by saying, I would like to thank the administration of the Nursery for accepting me in their family so warmly, but more importantly for the sterling work they have done and do every day. The same goes for all the coaching staff, and the parents who entrusted our Nursery with the education of their children. We promise to do everything in our control to help them become better persons, and hopefully, improving their talent and skills to see them play in the highest levels when the time comes.
