Academy Product Ryan Camenzuli wins Best Young Player

Birkirkara FC Youth Academy product, Ryan Camenzuli, was voted as the Best Young Player for season 2014-2015, during the MFA Awards 2015, which was held at the Mediterranean Conference Centre in Valletta, yesterday evening.

Ryan was rewarded for his outstanding displays throughout last season where he proved to be an asset for the team. The left-footed player possesses excellent technique and speed on the left channel, whether he played as a left-back or in advanced role on the same side.

He is one of the elite products that the Academy has produced in the last years. He made his Senior Team debut at the age of seventeen years and he is also a regular player in the Under-21's National Team.

Ryan, who is currently part of the team that is in Italy for a ten-day training camp, told us, “This means a lot to me. It also means that it is motivation to work more and continue improving on my level. I would dedicate this award and thank my family that always helped me, all of my team-mates, coaches, technical team and the committee for the trust in my potential.”
