Cain Attard signs for Birkirkara FC

Birkirkara FC completed their fifth signing during this Summer Transfer Window when just a few moments ago, talented youngster Cain Attard signed a five-year contract with our Club.

With the signing of Cain Attard from Pieta Hotspurs, the Stripes continued to strengthen their squad for Season 2015-2016, where they are widely expected to be among the main-challengers for the BOV Premier League.

Cain is a twenty-year old midfielder, who can also play as a defender. He is a product of Pieta Hotspurs FC, and last season he was a regular choice with their senior team, where he made twenty-seven appearances in the BOV Premier League, and scored one goal.

Cain is also part of the Under-21's National Team and so far he had two appearances. He made his debut in the narrow 2-1 defeat against Sweden on the 5 March 2014 where he played the whole ninety minutes.
