Under-17's Team eliminated by Sliema Wanderers

Birkirkara FC Under-17's Team were eliminated from the Under-17's Knockout, when on Sunday morning a late goal gave Sliema Wanderers a dramatic 3-2 victory to go through to the Semi-Final of the knockout.

The Stripes surged ahead late in the first-half thanks to Ayrton Attard to end the first-half in the lead. Sliema drew level quickly in the second half, but the Stripes were quick to regain the lead thanks to Kyle Mifsud. However, Sliema kept pushing forward, equalised and also managed to register the winning goal late in the match.
