Women's Team beaten by Hibernians

Birkirkara FC Women's Team conceded their fourth defeat in the BOV Women's First Division League, when two goals in the second-half by Shona Zammit and Ylenia Carabott earned them a fine 2-0 victory which also meant that they secured the league title.

Following a goal-less first-half, Hibernians surged ahead nine minutes in the second half when Shona Zammit exchanged possession with Ylenia Carabott before lobbing the ball over goalkeeper Xuereb. The Paolites sealed their victory nine minutes from time thanks to a direct free-kick by Carabott.
