Girls Under-16's beaten by Mgarr United

Birkirkara FC Girls Under-16's Team's commitments in the Girls Under-16's League Section A came to an end last Sunday when in the last match, they were defeated by Mgarr United with a 3-1 score despite a satisfactory performance.

Mgarr United surged ahead after eight minutes by Kylie Pantelleresco but the Stripes made an instant reaction as Michela Felice brought the score level just two minutes later. Maia Debono regained Mgarr United the lead with a wonderful goal on the fourteenth minute and Rachela Pace added the third on the twenty-fifth minute.

Tarxien Rainbows were crowned Champions with thirty-nine points, one over Mgarr and six over Gozo. Birkirkara placed in the fourth place with twenty-five points, seven over Hibernians and eighth over Mosta.
