Stephania Farrugia named the BOV Player of April and May

Birkirkara FC Women's Team Captain Stephania Farrugia has been named the BOV Player of the month for April and May. She is the first player to have won the award for four months in one season since the inception of this award in 2012, after she had already claimed January and February award.

Freshly after being crowned the Malta Football Players Association (MFPA) Female Player of the year, the Birkirkara captain continued to enjoy a wonderful season on a personal level by winning the best player for April and May to end the season on a high.

The twenty-four year old defender led Birkirkara to the second spot in the BOV Women's First Division league and proved her versatility by scoring 5 goals this season while playing as a defender.

Bernard Azzopardi, Manager for Bank of Valletta's branch in Birkirkara presented the BOV Female Player of the Month trophy to Stephania.
