Mr. Shawn Meilak appointed Women's Team Coach

Birkirkara FC has appointed Mr. Shawn Meilak as the Women's Team Coach, on a three year contract.

Mr. Meilak is somewhat of a newcomer to the Women's football coaching, as he started his coaching career last year when he was coaching Pembroke Athleta Women's Team. However, his motivation and willingness to succeed caught the eye of many last season, and he left a very good impression in his first year in Women's football by transforming Pembroke into a much-improved side.

On the other hand, he is certainly not new to football as he enjoys years of experience of working as a physical trainer and a physiotherapist with a number of clubs in both Malta and Gozo. Mr. Meilak is fully qualified both as a physical trainer and a physiotherapist, and this will certainly be an asset in the Women's Team technical staff.

We would like to welcome Mr. Meilak to our Club, while wishing him all the best of luck at the helm of the Women's Team.
