Birkirkara FC sign James Brincat

Birkirkara FC remains committed to continue investing in the best young local talent when just a few moments ago, utility player James Brincat signed a five-year contract with our Club.

James is nineteen years old and the technical midfielder is another young player who is establishing himself in the BOV Premier League. He made his debut in the Season 2013-2014 and went on to make ten appearances. He made seventeen appearances in the Season 2014-2015 while he was a regular player last season when he made thirty-one appearances and scored three goals.

Brincat also forms part of the Under-19's National Team. He made his debut with the team on the 13 November 2014 in the narrow 1-0 defeat against Northern Ireland in the UEFA European Under-19 Championship. He played all three matches in the competition.
