Under-17's Team suffer first defeat

Birkirkara FC Under-17's Team suffered the first defeat in the APS Under-17's League Section A when they were defeated by Mosta with a 4-1 score.

Two early goals stunned the Stripes as Mosta went with all guns blazing and they even managed to add the third goal before half-time. The Blues added their fourth goal inside the second half before Paul Mbong scored a consolation goal for the Stripes.

Despite this defeat, the Stripes are still the leaders in the league with ten points but they are now joined by the same Mosta and Valletta, followed by St. Andrew's with nine. Hamrun Spartans have six points, Balzan and Pieta Hotspurs four each and San Gwann are at the bottom place with two points.
