Luke Montebello joins Birkirkara FC

Birkirkara FC completed their first signing this summer when Birkirkara FC Youth Academy product Luke Montebello has joined the Club for the upcoming two years.

Montebello, aged 22, is well-known for his attacking skills as the towering forward has established himself among the best Maltese forwards on our island. After starting last season with Pembroke Athleta, he returned to Valletta where he made nineteen appearances and scored five goals.

Luke has played in all levels of youths with the National Team and last March he made his debut with the National Team. He was included as a substitute in the World Cup Qualification match against Slovakia, which the latter won with a 3-1 score.

We would like to welcome Luke while wishing him all the best of luck in his adventure with our Club.
