Women's Team to start title defence against Raiders FC

Champions Birkirkara FC Women's Team will be starting their BOV Women's League defence against Raiders FC. The draws were held earlier today at the General Head-Quarters of the Malta Football Association.

The league will have a new format composed of nine teams. The first-round will be played on round-robin basis while the league will split in Section A and Section B for the following three rounds.

The BOV Women's League will start on Tuesday, 3 October, and for this year, it will be played at the Charles Abela Stadium, Mgarr Grounds, Zebbug Grounds and Fgura United Grounds. All matches are expected to kick off at 20:15.

Birkirkara FC's sequence for the first round of the BOV Women's League 2017-2018 is the following: 1) Raiders FC 2) Mgarr United FC 3) Fgura United FC 4) Mosta FC 5) Swieqi United FC 6) Tarxien Rainbows FC 7) Hibernians FC 8) Kirkop United FC.
