Birkirkara FC Youth Academy - Coaches Seminar

Birkirkara FC Youth Academy organised its annual seminar for coaches at the Hilltop Gardens in Naxxar on Saturday morning.

The main speakers during this seminar were the Youth Academy Administrator, Jonathan Barbara, the Director of Youth Coaching, Mark Bondin and the Physical Trainer of the Academy. Darren Farrugia.

Youth development was the main topic of the seminar which served as a platform for the Birkirkara youth coaches to discuss the situation of Maltese football and the vision of the academy whose mission is to prepare young players for senior-team football.

During the seminar, Icelandic Thorarinn Einar Engilbertsson, who coaches with Stjarnan FC, explained the system they use in the grassroots that has made a lot of success in his country.

The seminar ended up with a lunch complimentary of the Academy.
