Predrag Jovic was born on the 29 May 1987. He plays as a defender and he joined our Club in the 2016 Summer Transfer Market.
The towering defender is well-known for his defensive skills as he’s considered as a strong and powerful defender. He began his professional football career in 2015 with FK Radnicki Obrenovac where he spent six successful years in which he made 114 appearances and scored five goals.
In the 2011-20122 season, he joined FK Banat Zrenjanin, who plays in the First Division of Serbia, and spent two seasons. He was a regular choice and he made a total of 52 appearances while scoring two goals. Then, he moved to Indija, in the same division, and was a regular choice once again by making twenty-five appearances and scoring three goals.
Consistent and solid at the back, he established himself as one of the best defenders in the division and at the age of 25, in the 2014-2015 season, he moved to the Super Liga of Serbia, which is the top division. He joined FK Radnicki where he made fourteen appearances and scored one goal.
In the 2015-2016 season, he moved to Kolubara in the first division before quickly moving to his former Club, Indija. He regained a regular place at the back as he made thirteen appearances and scored two goals.
Birkirkara were looking to strengthen their defensive department in the 2016 Summer Transfer Market. The choice fell on Jovic and he signed a one-year contract with our Club on Friday, 17 June 2016.
