Thomas Paris was born on 15 November 1986 and he is another youth nursery product who had shown early potential of making it to the seniors' team. His determination, precise passing and intelligence made Thomas a defender who never makes it easy for one to get past him.
Paris made his debut in the Premier League on the 2nd January 2004 when our team suffered a 2-3 loss against Pieta Hotspurs. Thomas started this match and was then substituted for the last twenty minutes by another youngster, Martin Anastasi.
As from day one in the premier league, Thomas always showed his love for the yellow and red shirt by giving his 100% in every game and, although like every youngster, Thomas lacked experience, he always managed to overcome this with his determination.
Thomas scored only one goal for 'The Stripes': the winning goal on 1st December 2008 against Floriana as his was the 3rd and most important goal, just minutes after entering the game, leaving Birkirkara FC with a positive 3-2 result.
Thomas became a regular player with 'The Stripes' during the 2008-2009 rather disappointing season, during which our team had only managed to win the Euro Challenge Cup. The only consolation was to keep the Uefa record alive by placing 3rd which means an automatic participation in the 1st round of the Uefa Europa league. However, our team was eliminated by 1-0 aggregate against Croatian side, Slaven Belupo.
The 2009-2010 season was not the best for Thomas, as for most of the matches he was on the bench, however, with every chance he was given by Mr. Paul Zammit, the youngster made sure to give his utmost, resulting in a hard time for any opposing attacker.
In summer 2010, Thomas extended his contract by another year which will keep him on our books till the end of the 2010-2011 season. On 18 January 2011 Thomas joined Floriana FC on a loan basis till the end of the season.
In the 2011 Summer Transfer Market, Thomas Paris moved to Floriana on a permanent deal.
