Birkirkara 3-1 Tarxien R.

.After just eight minutes, The 'Stripes' opened the score through the club's best ever top scorer, Michael Galea, who managed to beat the Tarxien goalie, after being served by Paul Fenech.
Those present had to wait another thirty five minutes to witness the game's second goal, which was yet again scored by Birkirkara through Sylvano Comvalius after some fine work by Trevor Cilia, Paul Fenech and the newly acquired Karl Pulo'.
Tarxien R. got a lifeline, when following a corner, the match officials spotted a foul in the box, and from the resultant penalty kick, Denni Rocha Dos Santos made it 2-1.
Victory was virtually impossible for Tarxien to acquire on eighty-three minutes, as Sylvano Comvalius scored his second personal goal of the night and the third for Birkirkara, to make the final score 3-1
