Birkirkara share the spoils with Senglea Athletic

Birkirkara FC shared the spoils with Senglea Athletic FC in a 2-2 draw, in a friendly match played on Tuesday evening. Luke Montebello and Edmond Agius found the net for the Stripes.

Defender Ryan Camenzuli had his direct free-kick smashing against the bar for the Stripes, but the Stripes surged ahead moments later, thanks to Luke Montebello who headed home a cross by Edward Herrera.

Senglea Athletic were quick to get the equaliser, but the Stripes regained the lead thanks to a fine shot by Edmond Agius. Late in the match, Senglea made the score level for a final 2-2 score.

The Stripes will be involved in the next friendly match tomorrow evening against Pieta Hotspurs FC. The match will be played at the Siggiewi Grounds and it will kick off at 20:30.
