Birkirkara FC Under 19's good efforts were not enough on Thursday evening, as they were defeated by Valletta FC with a 2-1 score in the Youths League Section A.

Birkirkara FC Under-15's Team started the second round commitments on a positive note as they consolidated their sole leadership in the APS Bank Under-15's League Section thanks to a 2-1 victory over Mosta FC.

Four players forming part of the Birkirkara FC Youth Academy were called-up with the Girls Under-15's National Team, coached by Ms. Dorianne Theuma and assisted by Ms. Charlene Zammit, for the two friendly matches against Romania on the 30 March and 1 April respectively.

Stripes survive late scare and narrow the gap

A goal by Mauricio Mazzetti two minutes from time enabled Birkirkara FC to return to winning ways and survive a late scare by Pieta Hotspurs . Thanks to a hard-fought 2-1 victory they consolidated their second place in the BOV Premier League and narrowed the gap with leaders Hibernians to eight points.

Kurt Zammit called with the Under-21's National Team

Birkirkara FC Youth Academy products, Kurt Zammit and Ryan Camenzuli,have been named in the Malta Under-21's National Team led by Coach Mr. Silvio Vella for the two friendly matches against Birkirkara FC's Seniors Team and Catania Primavera. Ryan Camenzuli will only be utilised if he is dropped from the provisional senior National Team.

Birkirkara FC Girls Under-16's Team's seasons commitments came to an end on Sunday morning, when a fine performance was not enough to stop Gozo in the Girls Under-16's Preliminary Round in the knockout competition, when the latter advanced with a 3-1 score.

Ryan Camenzuli called-up with the National Team

Birkirkara FC Youth Academy product Ryan Camenzuli was among the five new players that Mr. Pietro Ghedin named in the provisional squad for the friendly match against Georgia, before the Maltese National Team take on Azerbaijan in Group H of the Euro Qualifier. Four other Birkirkara players named were Justin Haber, Zach Muscat, Rowen Muscat and Paul Fenech.
