Smrekar's late goal hands the Stripes precious points

Birkirkara FC came back from behind and registered another late victory for the second week running, when a direct free-kick by Matija Smrekar handed them a 2-1 victory over Sliema Wanderers, after Frank Temile cancelled-out Njongo Priso's opening goal in the first-half.

Girls Under-16's defeated by Mosta

Birkirkara FC Girls Under-16's Team suffered a 2-0 defeat to Mosta FC on Sunday morning when two goals in the second-half, one each by Shanice Cachia and Callie Chetcuti handed them the victory.

Birkirkara FC Under-17's Team gave a spirited performance but they still walked out empty-handed as joined leaders of the APS Bank Under-17's League Section A Mosta came back from behind to earn a difficult 3-1 victory.

Birkirkara FC Under-15's Team returned to winning ways and extended their unbeaten run to nine matches in the APS Bank Under-15's League Section A when a brace by Ryan Tonna handed them a narrow 2-1 victory over Hamrun Spartans FC.

Under-15's Team in a draw against St. Andrew's

Birkirkara FC Under-15's Team extended their positive unbeaten run to eight matches in the APS Bank Under-15's League Section A when they shared the spoils in a 1-1 draw with St. Andrew's. Birkirkara's goal was scored by Ryan Tonna.

Under-19's Team keep marching on

Birkirkara FC Under-19's Team continued on their positive run and they registered their fifth victory in the last six matches when thanks to two goals in the first-half by Kurt Zammit and Diego Bartolotta saw them overcoming the challenge of Pieta Hotspurs FC with a 2-0 score.

Under-17's Team beaten by Hamrun Spartans

Birkirkara FC Under-17's Team were defeated by leaders Hamrun Spartans FC with a 3-0 score in the APS Bank Under-17's League. The Spartans scored an early goal and they went on to score another two goals to register a comfortable victory.

Stripes back to winning ways

Birkirkara FC returned to winning ways in the BOV Premier League when a magnificent goal by Goran Mujanovic ten minutes from time enabled them to turn the score around and emerge victorious with a 2-1 score, after Frank Temile had cancelled Alex Nilsson's early strike in the second half.

Ten-man Stripes sweat to beat Pembroke

Birkirkara FC made them two out of two in the third and final round of the BOV Premier League, when a first-half goal by Matija Smrekar was enough to beat Pembroke Athleta with a narrow 1-0 score, in a match where they played for more than an hour with a player less.
