Coach Besek enjoys winning start, as Stripes narrowly beat Qormi

Birkirkara FC registered their third consecutive victory in the BOV Premier League, and Head Coach Mr. Drazen Besek's adventure with our Club got off to a winning start, thanks to a 1-0 victory over Qormi, with an own goal in the first half.

Mr. Besek debuts as Coach, as Stripes take on Qormi

Birkirkara FC will be seeking to continue building on what they left last year and will be hoping to make them three in a row when they face the tricky task in form of Qormi FC which will mark the debut of Head Coach Mr. Drazen Besek.

Late goal earns Under-15's Team a point

A late goal by Glenn Attard, two minutes into the added time of the second half, in the APS Bank Under-15's League Section A match saw Birkirkara equalising against Hibernians, for a final score of 1-1.

Under-17's Team with a fine victory over Pieta Hotspurs

Birkirkara FC returned to winning ways in the APS Bank Under-17's League when an early goal by Ayrton Attard and another one by Gianluca Zammit mid-way through the second half saw the Stripes defeating Pieta Hotspurs with a 2-0 score.

Shola Shodiya released

Birkirkara FC has just released Nigerian forward Shola Shodiya. Following a long term injury, Shola was yet to make his first appearance in a match this season.

Mislav Andelkovic joins the Stripes

Birkirkara FC completed their second major signing in this January Transfer Window when former Istra 1961, Hajduk Split and Koper FC defensive midfielder, Mislav Andelkovic, joined our Club on a year and and a half contract.

Juan Quero released

Birkirkara FC reached an agreement with Spanish midfielder Juan Quero to terminate his contract. The release was agreed upon amicably and mutually, to serve the interest of both parties.

Under-19's Team defeated by Balzan

A goal in each half brought to an end Birkirkara Under-19's Team's positive run of three consecutive victories in the Youths League Section A, when they were defeated by Balzan with a 2-0 score.

Ryan Camenzuli wins BOV Player of the month for December

Birkirkara FC Youth Academy product Ryan Camenzuli's electrifying performances as of late, has certainly caught the eye of all the Maltese Football followers, and the twenty-one year old winger has been awarded the BOV Best Player for the month of December.

Under-15's Team back to winning ways

Birkirkara FC Under-15's Team returned to winning ways in the APS Bank Under-15's League, when on Sunday morning they defeated Mosta FC with a 2-1 score thanks to a goal each by Irvine Sultana and Ryan Tonna.

Zach Muscat moves to Akragas

Birkirkara FC's and National Team player Zach Muscat is set to take the next step in his football career, as he joined the Italian Lega Pro side Akragas. He will be moving to Akragas on a permanent move and therefore bringing to an end a successful three and a half years spell with our Club.

Training Schedule for the first week of the year

Birkirkara FC's Senior Team will be back in action this weekend, when they face Qormi FC in the BOV Premier League. This will also be the first match for Head Coach Mr. Drazen Besek at the helm of our Club after joining our Club last Tuesday.

Edson Zarate signs for Birkirkara, Paul Fenech moves to Balzan

Birkirkara FC have reached an agreement with Balzan FC to swap midfielders Paul Fenech and Edison Bilbao Zarate on a permanent basis. This swap will mean that Fenech joins Balzan, while Zarate will be joining Birkirkara FC. Zarate has signed a two and a half year contract just a few moments ago.

Girls Under-16's make them four in a row with a big victory

Birkirkara FC Girls Under-16's Team registered their biggest victory in the Girls Under-16's League and made them four wins in a row when they easily defeated Kirkop United "B" FC with a much comfortable 7-0 score.

Training Schedule for the Senior Team

Birkirkara FC will be back in action in the BOV Premier League, when this week they will be involved in two matches. The Stripes will face Mosta FC on Wednesday while they take on Pembroke Athleta FC on Sunday.
