Nursery Joins the Ajax Online Academy

Birkirkara FC Youth Nursery is proudly announcing the enrollment within the Ajax Online Football Academy, a subsidiary of Ajax Amsterdam. This means that our coaches at the Nursery will have access to the methods used by this famous Dutch Club from Amsterdam in order to raise excellent players through their youth system. Ajax Amsterdam are know to be one of, if not, the best at producing top class players which are usually sought for by the best clubs in the world.

A last minute goal by St. Patricks put the Stripes in what now should be considered as crisis as the Under 19's Team suffered their third consecutive defeat on Tuesday evening, this time loosing to St. Patrick's with a 2-1 score.

Under 17s Beaten by Valletta

After losing to league leaders Paola Hibs last weekend, Birkirkara were pitted against Valletta, who are in second place and still much in the fight for the title. It was surely a very difficult game for our boys, but faired pretty well until the opening goal arrived. From then on it was an uphill struggle in order to get back into the match, something which did not materialise with the Citizens sealing the victory with two more goals in the second half.
