Appeal rejected

The Club has just been notified by the MFA Appeals' Board that its appeal has been rejected, and that it is upholding the decision of the Member Clubs Licencing Board not to grant Birkirkara F.C. a UEFA Licence for Season 2017 / 2018.

Birkirkara FC Women's Team Captain Stephania Farrugia has been named the MFPA Best Female Player for Season 2016-2017. Stephania has been chosen the winner by the teams' captains of the BOV Women's First Division.

Senior Team's Captain Gareth Sciberras and Joseph Zerafa have been nominated for the MFA Footballer of the Year while Women's Team Captain Stephania Farrugia and defender Ann-Marie Said have been nominated for the BOV Women's League Best Player in the MFA Awards 2017.

Birkirkara against Floriana to be played on 5 May

The Malta Football Association has announced that the last fixture of the BOV Premier League between Birkirkara FC and Floriana FC will be played on Friday, 5 May. The match will be played at the Hibernians Stadium and it will kick off at 20:00.

Birkirkara FC Under-17's Team clinched the Under-17's Knock-Out on Sunday morning, when they defeated Balzan FC with a comfortable 4-0 score, thanks to a goal each by Sebastian Grech, Ayrton Attard, Briam Mifsud and Michele Vella.

Birkirkara FC Youth Academy taking part in Italian tournaments

Birkirkara FC Youth Academy will be participating in the Sportland Cup with the Under-9's, Under-11's and Under-12's categories, while the Under-10's category will be participating in the Torneo Costa Viola. Both tournaments will be held between Saturday 29 April and Monday 1 May in Italy.
