Miguel Alba and Srdjan Dimitrov suspended

The Malta Football Association has announced that Birkirkara FC offensive duo namely Miguel Alba and Srdjan Dimitrov have been suspended for one match. Therefore, both players will be unavailable for selection for this Sunday's BOV Premier League match against Gzira United FC.

Champions Birkirkara beat Hibernians to extend unbeaten streak

Champions Birkirkara FC Women's Team registered their eighteenth consecutive victory in the BOV Women's First Division League when they defeated Hibernians FC with a 3-2 score. The Stripes are now just one match away from completing the whole league campaign unbeaten.

Birkirkara FC Under-17's Team ended their APS Bank Under-17's League commitments on a positive note, when they came from behind to defeat Pieta Hotspurs FC with a 2-1 score. The Stripes placed in the fourth position in this league campaign.

Birkirkara FC Under-15's Team ended their APS Under-15's League Section A commitments on the most satisfactory note, as they registered their first victory when they defeated Melita FC with a narrow 1-0 score.

Clarification about UEFA Licence

In reply to statements that appeared in certain sections of the media, Birkirkara FC would like to clarify that on the 19th of April the Club received a communication by the licensing manager dated the 18th of April attached to which was a decision of Licensing Board dated 17th April stating that should the club not submit certain documents by midnight of the 17th April they would not be able to grant the Club the UEFA licence.
